A Story About Vampires

Vampire halloween costumes are really in demand for Halloween this year. But I think it’s important to know a little about vampires. Vampires survive by sucking and feeding on human blood. They are often described as the living dead. Many complex ceremonial acts were used in an attempt to identify vampires.

One thought that traveling thru a graveyard at night would eventually be a way to discover the coffins of the vampires while they were seeking new prey. Their ability to change into a bat gave them a distinct advantage of covering more ground by air than by foot.

Vampires were described as generally charming and seductive with a “dark” sense of humor. Vampires appear to be normal living persons. The more blood they consume the more sound their appearance with no outward sign of deterioration or supernatural powers.

There are also reports that vampires choose their prey in advance so in the night time hours as they arise from their coffins deep in the bowels of hell they need not search for their evening meal. For dining purposes, their teeth would be come fangs allowing for the puncture of the neck and the sucking of the blood from the victim.

In addition, folklore is that it takes three bites to turn their chosen victim into a vampire who them submits to the will of the biter. Since vampires are nocturnal, one would never see them during the day because of their fear and dislike of sunlight.

In order to slay a vampire one must drive a wooden stake through its heart and to and they are at ensure it cannot regenerate the vampire must be beheaded. The vampire is most vulnerable to a successful attack in the daylight, when their powers are at its weakest as they rest in their coffins from their fulfilling night.
